Announcement on the OT MSc Scholarship (2021)

New development for all applicants/potential applicants of the fully sponsored Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSc_OT) at Queen’s University in Canada through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.

Due to the sudden closure of the British Council because of the Pandemic arrangements are currently being made in collaboration with Queens University, Canada and the MasterCard Foundation to facilitate the English proficiency exam for the MSc_OT applicants directly from Queens University free of charge.

Since there are limited spots for the opportunity, the following requirements will be considered by the screening committee to differentiate between applicants for selection:

1. Applicants with previous IELTS exam score of at least ≥6.0 preferably ≥6.5 and its equivalents.
2. Being a female academic staff of university of Gondar.
3. Motivation and passion to pursue MSc_OT at Queen’s University of Canada and pioneer the field of OT in Ethiopia upon completion of training.

Therefore, Please submit the rest of your application documents as soon as possible either as a hard copy to the MasterCard Foundation office of UoG or the soft copy via email <hakimulig@gmail.com>.
Due to the COVID-19 related delays, the screening committee will have to soon select from the timely submitted applications using the above mentioned criteria for a free of charge English Proficiency Test directly from Queen’s University of Canada.
