“Occupational Therapy will bring new skills and expertise to this East African Country. In the near future, once the first cohort of Master’s trained Occupational Therapy UoG faculty return from Queens University, they will be pioneers in opening Ethiopia’s first Occupational Therapy department. “
Representatives from Queens University’s OT department visited UoG to discuss in length the specifics of the OT program in Canada and it’s relevance to up and coming Ethiopian physicians.
Comprising of 13 individuals, of whom 3 are African, the MasterCard Scholars program convened in Toronto, Canada.
On 1 December 2017, the mastercard Scholars program at the University of Gondar has held a management meeting in the CBR office was a show of self-evaluation for the Mastercard Foundation team.
On 7 and 8 of October 2017, MasterCard scholars were finally inducted into the University of Gondar.
